Hey, just to let you know, I'll probably be spitting out an article on "cranks and how to spot them" sometime this week. The reason is that a company to which I'm applying for a job has asked that I give a presentation on a subject of my choice. Having spent a disproportionate amount of time arguing with cranks in the past, I feel this is an area where I can give a good account of myself. Afterwards I'll write it up as an essay.

OK, finally got round to htmlising the talk - see here. I'm not 100% sure the text I've got up is the latest version - will check through my notes.

I may do a short brief on producing a presentation at some point. I found it surprisingly tricky for a while.
