A number of people have asked where the SJS Website & Wiki have gone.

Recently we migrated the forum, blog and other web based resources of the campaign to http://www.justscience.org.uk (if you wait a few seconds it automatically forwards to our Wiki) and that went very well indeed. Shortly after we had migrated the active users across we started to get problems on both the website and the Wiki and after Tim (our web guru) investigated it turned out that our hosting company had put our site on a server which is rather prone to dysfunction. They are, we are told, migrating all affected sites (they started this 2 days ago) as we speak but so far do not appear to have migrated ours.

It couldn't have happened for the campaign at a much worse point as we were just beginning to get stuff published in the media, just (we felt) beginning to have an impact on the opposition along with our colleagues over at BCSE.

Our site is quite a sophisticated beast with several specialist requirements so unfortunately simply moving it to another hosting company is not a realistic option and ultimately, all we can ask is that you be patient, bear with us and we will get this resolved.
